Sustainability is central to the degree, fostering an understanding of the UN Sustainable Development Goals and the role hospitality and tourism play in influencing visitor behaviour. The programme explores ways to generate social, cultural, and economic benefits for local communities while reducing environmental impacts at local, national, and international levels. Students also investigate the application of sustainable digital technologies to build resilient infrastructures, enhance global supply chains, foster innovation, and support destination development both locally and internationally.
