In the Post-graduate Certificate in Software Development & Applied Artificial Intelligence program, applicants will explore interdisciplinary topics related to AI and Software Development, including the fundamental concepts of AI, nine different programming languages, algorithms of machine learning, statistics, information systems, and the history, ethics, social, and political implications of AI.

Through this program – completed following the undergraduate degree – applicants will gain a deeper understanding of AI and software development, and ways to implement this cutting-edge technology in their professional career, and beyond.

This postgraduate certificate program is offered exclusively at Trent’s Durham campus in the Greater Toronto Area. Applicants will study in modern, new learning facilities at the Trent Durham Advanced Learning Centre (ALC) in the heart of downtown Oshawa surrounded by restaurants, cafés, entertainment venues, and other amenities.

The ALC is also designed with student success in mind - in addition to Trent Durham instructors, the University provides a wide range of on-site support services including academic advisors, career supports, library staff, and Trent International.
