The Information Resources Management post-graduate certificate is an eight-month program that provides a unique opportunity for professionals with an existing bachelor’s degree who want to advance their careers using information, data, technology, and tools, to improve efficiency and support companies in achieving its goals. The program will prepare you to assume information and management roles in Saskatchewan and Canadian public and private enterprise.
This program emphasizes managing data throughout its lifecycle to ensure it remains secure, accessible and valuable for business decision-making. You will develop skills and knowledge in:
• project management • business law • risk and security planning • strategic information management • contracts and procurement • data analytics and business intelligence • operations management • human resource and organizational dynamics, • and business communications
Students are not required to have a technical background (e.g., computing or engineering) to be successful in this program.
