Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Psychology and Religion (CV86)

University of Birmingham - Edgbaston

What you will study

An understanding of both psychology and religion is indispensable for anyone operating within a contemporary, multicultural society; and this programme is a unique opportunity for students with varied interests including counselling, policy, research, pastoral care, law and health management.

This innovative programme, which focuses on the role of belief in mind and society, gives students the opportunity to engage with areas of staff expertise such as understanding and confronting radical thinking, philosophy of religion and ethics, science and belief in society, psychological therapies, the Holocaust, mind and brain in adolescence, and more.

In addition to studying psychology and religion, the psychology of religion and belief is a rapidly growing area of research and public interest, and is increasingly prominent in discussions of well-being and social change.

This course is not accredited by the British Psychology Society.
