Overview

The Pre-Masters is a three-term programme that provides the specialist academic and English language preparation students need to succeed as a postgraduate student at Durham University. Once they successfully complete this Pre-Masters programme and achieve the required grades, they can start their chosen Masters degree at Durham University.

This Master of Arts in Climate, Risk and Society takes a natural science approach to climate risk. Designed to equip students with an in-depth understanding of how human influence on climate is creating new risks, challenges and greater social vulnerability, it also teaches the necessary skills to develop effective responses to such natural and socio-political threats.
