College Diploma - Truck and Transport Technician (Optional Co-op)

New Brunswick Community College - Moncton

What you will study

Program Description Every day in Canada, tens of thousands of trucks and transportation vehicles hit the roads. From goods and materials on big rigs to people on buses, they move just about everything. The transportation of goods in a timely manner is vital to business. Truck and transport service technicians are the people who keep the equipment rolling safely down the road.

In the Truck and Transport Technician program, students will gain hands-on experience with the nuts and bolts of every system on some of the largest vehicles out there. Students will learn about the engine, electrical, hydraulic, braking, and other vehicle systems, and how to examine vehicles for defects, diagnose the cause of malfunctions using computerized technology, overhaul mechanical systems and fit and reassemble new parts.
