What you will study

Combining theory with practical experience, the accredited Bachelor of Engineering (Honours) Electronic and Communication Engineering will prepare students for a career in digital, computing, and communications systems. They work with industry and the accrediting bodies to ensure that they will develop the knowledge and skills needed in the workplace.

Students learn with a team with an international research reputation and explore areas including computer programming, data communications, microcontrollers, digital signal processing and microprocessor systems design.

Working with other engineering specialists on challenging and rewarding projects, such as those in the Sustainable Technology and Engineering Projects (STEP) lab, gives students an experience that mirrors industry. Placements and regular guest lectures from industry provide professional insight and networking opportunities.
