What you will study
The Pre-Masters program is offered over one or two terms and is designed for students who do not qualify for direct entry to the masters programs at the university. This could be due to the grades achieved in their bachelor’s degree, their current qualifications not being equivalent to a United Kingdom bachelor degree, or having a different background.
Upon successfully completing the Pre-Masters program, students will continue onto their chosen postgraduate degree course at the University of Bradford.
Chemical Engineering provides essential tools based on the concept of sustainability and low carbon footprint for transforming raw materials into useful products in a safe and cost-effective manner. Chemical Engineers understand how to alter the chemical, biochemical, or physical state of a substance to create a wide range of products, from health care items (such as face creams, shampoo, perfume, and drugs) to food products (including dairy items, cereals, and agro-chemicals) and water solutions (such as desalination for freshwater) to energy sources (from petroleum to nuclear fuels).
