Overview

During the course, students will gain an understanding of the scientific basis of cancer and its treatments while learning the laboratory skills needed to evaluate the potential efficacy of new therapeutics. They will be encouraged to attend workshops, tutorials, and seminars covering a range of specific skills and resources necessary for their research journey.

The academics involved in the program are internationally recognized researchers in the field of cancer research and have expertise in a variety of research areas, including immuno-oncology, epigenetics, genomics, chemoresistance, metastasis, and cancer stem cells, as well as in different types of cancer such as osteosarcoma, ovarian cancer, leukemia, cervical cancer, and colorectal cancer. Students will have access to an exceptionally wide range of research projects in cancer biology and can pursue a specific research project in collaboration with experts in the field.
