What you will study
The Master of Philosophy (MPhil) is a higher degree by research that is completed entirely through independent scholarly activity. Graduates of the program demonstrate an advanced and integrated understanding of a complex body of knowledge.
Normally completed over two years of full-time study, the MPhil requires candidates to show their capacity for independent research through the submission of a substantial thesis or a portfolio of creative works accompanied by an exegesis. Throughout the course of study, each candidate is supported by a supervisory team who provide academic guidance and mentorship.
Within this program, candidates undertake a research project within the broad field of creative arts.
