What you will study
This course provides students with a wide variety of major and minor study areas to choose from based on your interests and career aspirations. The students can apply to Bachelor of Science and study a generalised first year, with the flexibility to choose from a wide range of double-majors from your second year onwards in Veterinary Bioscience, Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation, Chemistry and Analytical Science, Brewing and Food Science or Geoscience through comprehensive science degree. A wide range of other major and minor study areas are also available, allowing students to tailor their career path. • Veterinary Bioscience: Focuses on the biological principles underlying animal health, behaviour and diseases. Prepares students for careers in veterinary sciences (following further study), animal production and nutrition, and animal research. • Wildlife and Ecosystem Conservation: Explores the preservation and management of wildlife and natural ecosystems. Equips students with knowledge to address biodiversity conservation, landscape rehabilitation and sustainability challenges. • Chemistry and Analytical Science: Combines the study of chemical processes with advanced analytical techniques. Prepares students for roles in research, industry and environmental monitoring. • Brewing and Food Science: Centres on the science behind brewing, fermentation and food production. Offers pathways to careers in the food and beverage industries, including brewing innovation. • Geoscience: Examines Earth’s physical structure, materials and processes. Prepares students for work in environmental management, resource exploration and geological sciences.
