Cambrian College
Students in the Building Construction Technician – Carpentry College Diploma program at Cambrian College are prepared to build their future from the ground up. Designed for individuals seeking to advance beyond basic carpentry skills, the program equips learners for roles in both commercial and residential construction sectors, where skilled trades professionals are in high demand.
Through a combination of classroom instruction and hands‑on training, students learn to review and interpret building plans, collaborate effectively with other trades, apply sustainable construction practices, and understand building codes and safety regulations to ensure all projects meet legal and professional standards.
By gaining practical experience in various building and technical functions, graduates are ready to join construction teams and take on roles that require both craftsmanship and leadership.
