Overview
If you do not meet the English language entry requirements for the Pre-Masters, you can study the English for Pre-Masters course first. At the end of the English for Pre-Masters course, you will take an IELTS test to assess your level of English. You will progress to your chosen program when you complete the course and achieve the required IELTS score. This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the Durham University International Study Centre located at Queen's Campus, in Stockton on Tees. After completing the pathway, students will progress into a program at Durham University. In a Pre-Masters program students will study courses related to their intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance their skills as a student. Advancement into their intended program depends upon successful completion of the pathway program. This Pre-Masters provides the subject knowledge, language proficiency and study skills students need to progress to degree study at the University of Durham, Durham City campus in a range of subjects related to economics, accounting or finance. After completing this pathway, students will transfer to the MSci - Management (Entrepreneurship) program. These one year, full-time MSc in Management programs are designed to provide students with the tools, techniques, and knowledge to succeed in business. Our MSc Management (Entrepreneurship) has been developed to help entrepreneurial thinkers turn ideas into action. It could be launching your own idea, developing something in partnership, or investing in new ventures – or perhaps you want to find fresh ways to foster and harness entrepreneurial thinking in a business context. Whatever the students' aims, they will learn in a stimulating and enjoyable environment, guided by experienced academics. The program consists of a set of core and elective modules, culminating in a practice-based business project or a research-based dissertation.
