Overview
In this program students will study with international classmates who share the same goal: admission to a degree program at the University of Victoria.
University Admission Preparation (UAP) is the highest academic level of University of Victoria's Intensive English (ELPI) program, designed for students to develop the skills to succeed in academic classes as a non-native English speaker.
A passing UAP grade satisfies the English requirement for admission to many undergraduate and graduate programs at the University of Victoria.
Program features: • January, April and September start dates
• 20 class hours per week
• Includes a specialized "University Skills for Success" elective class
• Study Skills and Academic Integrity workshops
• ELC Learning Centre access for additional practice and workshops
• Free weekly activities (coffee socials, sports, workshops and tours) and optional weekend trips with our Cultural Assistants
• Homestay accommodation and meals
• Certificate of Completion and a Record of Grade
