Program Description For students who hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, but don’t meet the entry requirements for a master’s, a Pre-Master’s can help them gain a place on a postgraduate degree. For progression to the 1st year of a postgraduate degree at City, University of London. The course length is determined mainly by English language level (UKVI IELTS score).
Students on all course lengths take a set of common or similar modules to gain a solid base of skills for university. If the course is longer than 2 terms, students will take additional modules designed to improve one or more of their English language level, academic skills, and basic knowledge of particular subjects.
Master of Science - Cyber Security
This course is designed for graduate students and IT/ICT professionals who want to prepare for a successful career in computer, network and information security. It will help students to develop their specialist analytical, operational and development skills in both technical and socio-technical areas of cyber security.
This Masters programme will particularly suit students who have completed a first degree in a computing subject, such as computer science or business computing. It will also suit graduates who have completed a numerate subject with a significant computing component, such as applied mathematics, engineering or physics.
