Bachelor of Science - Environmental Geoscience (F643) (Study Abroad Year)

In the Environmental Geoscience course, students will have the opportunity to delve into various processes that occur on our planet, including acid rain and global warming, while also seeking solutions to geological problems both in the UK and worldwide. Throughout the program, students will develop advanced skills in mapping, research, analysis, and problem-solving, equipping them with the necessary tools to tackle complex geological issues.

The region of South Wales, with its rich geological history, serves as an ideal location for understanding the impact of geology on landscapes and industries. Regular field trips to areas of natural beauty and former industrial and mining sites provide students with firsthand experiences and practical knowledge. Additionally, there are opportunities for overseas trips, with previous destinations including Tenerife and Cyprus.

One of the highlights of this four-year program is the chance to spend an academic year studying at one of our partner universities abroad.
