Students in the Electromechanical Engineering Technician - Robotics program will gain a solid foundation in programmable logic controllers, electronics, computer-aided design, mechanical systems, computer and robot programming, sensors and actuators. Graduates will be prepared to program, troubleshoot and maintain robots and automated production systems along with mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment. Graduates will also be equipped to assist in the application and design of robotic systems, their manufacture and testing.
Program Highlights:
• New ABB robot / machine vision lab with eight new robots with integrated vision cameras. • Upgraded PLC lab for teaching Rockwell Studio 5000 programming. • Students graduate with a diverse skill set that prepares them for in-demand, high paying careers in the local area.
