Program Description This course is ideal for students who would like to gain an advanced knowledge of international business and management principles, through both practical application and critical thinking. Students will enhance their understanding of core business knowledge and develop the ability to identify and manage important issues relevant to international businesses. By embracing two different business approaches, students will learn how to make the most of opportunities to launch a business or grow an existing organisation. Students will also have the chance to personalise their learning and specialise in an area of international management of their choosing. This includes areas relating to international trade, supply chain management, contemporary business models, creativity, leadership, innovation, and managing on a global scale. Key features: • Students will tailor the course to their career aspirations – be that launching a small business or growing an established company – by choosing from a range of modules. • Students will benefit from guest lectures, bringing new dimensions and insights to your learning. • Students will take advantage of international experience and volunteering opportunities, which could add an extra dimension to their studies and enhance their employability, through De Montfort University's Local and Global programmes. • The diverse nature of the school means students will experience and benefit from a truly international learning environment. • Students will be able to benefit from the new Student Advice Centre (SAC) with appointment/private meeting rooms, allowing them to discuss any queries they may have in a more confidential nature.
