Bachelor of Science - Biochemistry

The Biochemistry Major is designed to follow the recommended curriculum proposed by both the American Chemical Society and the American Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. This major is recommended for students interested in careers in health sciences such as medicine, dentistry, veterinary medicine, nutrition, clinical chemistry, toxicology, pharmacology, molecular biology, etc. as well as those interested in a graduate career in biochemistry or molecular biology. Pre-Professional Pathways Pre-professional is a category for College of Arts and Sciences students at Western Michigan University who intend to enter a professional school after graduating with their bachelor's degrees.
