What you will study

The International Year One (IY1) is equivalent to a first year of study at the undergraduate level. The course offers a combination of core modules and subject-specific study to help students develop the skills necessary to succeed in their chosen degree course.

Upon successful completion of the International Year One pathway, students will progress to the second year of their chosen degree at the University of Bradford.

The 3-year BEng (Hons) Biomedical Engineering degree covers disciplines such as rehabilitation engineering, biomaterials and implant design, tissue engineering, genomic coding, and medical technology. All teaching is informed by the latest research and is delivered by experienced medical engineers and clinical scientists. Students will also gain professional insight from industry partners and hands-on practical experience in state-of-the-art engineering laboratories.
