Associate of Applied Science - Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Cardiac/Vascular Ultrasound Track - The Associate of Applied Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography: Cardiac/Vascular Ultrasound Track prepares students with specialized knowledge required to perform cardiovascular and vascular ultrasound examinations in clinical environments. The curriculum combines instruction in cardiac anatomy, vascular imaging, ultrasound technology, patient assessment, medical terminology, and healthcare ethics while promoting excellence in diagnostic imaging.. Students develop practical clinical skills through supervised healthcare experiences that strengthen technical accuracy, patient communication, and critical thinking. Graduates are prepared for employment in hospitals, cardiovascular clinics, diagnostic imaging centers, and specialized healthcare facilities providing cardiac and vascular imaging services.
