University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.

Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

To ensure students get the best start to their studies, RMIT offers careers counselling, as well as academic and welfare support services that can be accessed flexibly.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Bachelor of Biomedical Science (BP231P23) (BP231) The RMIT Bachelor of Biomedical Science provides a foundation for understanding how the human body functions and responds to disease, exercise, diet, internal disturbances, and environmental influences. The program offers two study options to support different career pathways.

Students can choose the Biomedical Science option, which includes a specialist minor in medical biotechnology or clinical health and disease, or the Osteopathy “3+2” option, which, when combined with the Master of Clinical Osteopathy, provides a pathway to becoming an osteopath.

Students study in well-equipped, state-of-the-art facilities, including the Digital Health Hub, where they use the latest technology to support health innovation. The program is delivered by practising industry professionals, allowing students to benefit from real-world experience and industry connections.

With a focus on flexibility, students can select from two outcome-focused, hands-on pathways that combine practical experience with contemporary theoretical knowledge.
