Overview
This programme provides undergraduate study of psychology combined with a placement year that offers students an opportunity to gain practical workplace experience. Students can study human behaviour, psychological processes, research methods, development, cognition, and social psychology while developing academic and professional skills. The placement year allows students to apply knowledge in a professional environment and gain insight into workplace practices. The programme encourages critical thinking, research, communication, and evidence-based problem-solving. It is suitable for students interested in psychology and careers involving people and behaviour. Graduates may progress into research, education, human resources, support services, social care, business, or further professional psychology training, depending on their chosen career pathway.
