Overview
Nurses build close relationships with the patients they see every day because they are hands-on professionals who provide personalized care. Doctors are often regarded as the life-savers, but nurses are there for the routine care and emotional support of the patients and their families.
Nursing is a major that students complete by taking 2 years of pre-admission classes required for application to a nursing school, and then once admitted, they complete the final 2+ years of their degree in a nursing school.
