2-Semester Pathway - International Foundation Year - Business, Media and Social Sciences - Transfer to Bachelor of Arts (Honours) - Philosophy and Sociology

Program Description This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre at the University of Sussex followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Sussex. In your International Foundation Year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The International Foundation Year in Business, Media and Social Sciences will familiarize you with a wide area of study for your intended degree. You will develop your critical thinking skills, creativity, analytical and team working skills, providing you with the most crucial skills required as a successful graduate.

By combining Philosophy and Sociology, you'll gain the skills to critically analyse today’s society, and to tackle its biggest issues.

Philosophy encourages you to consider universal questions about human behaviour. In Sociology, you look at how they’re dealt with now in our legal, political and cultural systems.
