The Bachelor of Business from Charles Sturt University Melbourne blends foundational business studies with contemporary theory in the fields of either Management, Marketing, Human Resource Management, Finance or Strategic Planning and current industry practice to prepare students for general and specialist careers in their chosen fields.

When students study finance as a major, they'll develop a broad range of skills that will enable them to make their mark in local, national or global companies. Students will be work-ready in roles within business development, banking, insurance and all levels of government.

For each 8-point subject students are enrolled in, they should expect to spend 10 to 12 hours per week working on assignments and assigned readings, tutorial assistance, individual or group research/study, forum activity, workplace learning, and attending lectures, intensive schools, or examinations. If they are studying four subjects per session, this is equivalent to a full-time job. The workload for some subjects may vary as a result of approved course design.

Students enrolled at Charles Sturt University Melbourne will complete structured work integrated learning activities as part of their program of study. The opportunity to undertake work placement may be available for students contingent on satisfactory progression and grades.
