Bachelor of Creative Industries (BCI) program integrates studio‑based art and design training with an emphasis on entrepreneurship, creative innovation, and industry experience. Students learn to navigate and connect art, design, media, and technology within real‑world creative and cultural contexts.
As the only program of its kind in Western Canada, AUArts’ BCI fosters both artistic practice and professional readiness—equipping graduates with the creative, strategic, and collaborative skills needed to succeed across today’s evolving creative landscapes.
Graduates are prepared for careers in areas such as:
• Digital and media production • Brand and marketing strategy • Creative entrepreneurship • Design and innovation strategy • Arts and culture leadership • And related creative industries fields
