4-Term Pathway - Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences - Transfer to Master of Science - International Business and Politics

The Pre-Master's for Law and Social Sciences at Kaplan International College London is ideal for a postgraduate degree at university. The length of the course is determined mainly by the applicant's English language level.

All students will take a set of common or similar modules to gain key skills for university. They may also take extra modules focusing on one or more of the English language, academic skills and basic subject knowledge.

The Master of Science in International Business and Politics sets out to explore concepts, approaches and methods from a truly interdisciplinary perspective and offers a rich and stimulating basis for postgraduate study. The degree offers a framework for exploring the changing relationship between states and markets, international institutions of global political-economic governance, transnational companies, work, geo-politics, industrialization and development.

Graduates throughout this program will develop advanced and critical understandings of the politics of international business from various intellectual perspectives, from neo-liberal and mainstream business studies approaches, through to more critical approaches which engage with questions of power and resistance.
