Associate of Arts - Equestrian Studies - Western Riding Emphasis

With five-days of instructor led riding per week, an exceptional school herd, and nationally and internationally renown instructors, Findlay's English Equestrian Studies Program has been setting the standard in the equestrian world for more than 40 years. At Findlay, students will work individually with at least one horse through the semester. They will be exposed to all facets of the equine industry, while having a guaranteed five days of instructor led riding and training time at the barn each week. Findlay's Equestrian Studies program utilizes a hands-on approach to learning, designed to give students the most practical experience that will translate to success in the equestrian industry. An associate of arts degree in Equestrian Studies - English Riding Emphasis will consist of courses like: General Western Riding and Training Techniques, Equine Selection/Judging - Western, Principles of Food Animal Nutrition, Physiology of Equine Reproduction, and more.
