What you will study

Program Description The course covers both academic and practical elements and is divided into a total of six units: three AS units and three A2 units. At AS Level students will study digital and analogue systems, circuits and components and a programmable control systems project. At A2 Level students will study communications systems and systems applications, the final module being the design project where they will design and test an electronic system. Tasks on this course include the design and development of a micro-controller program using computer software, the construction of a circuit to meet a system specification, and the design and development of an analogue/digital system containing sub-systems or smaller circuits.
