Overview

The associate degree in legal studies program explores what it takes to develop skills for legal research, civil litigation, real estate closings, estate administration and probate practice, business law, and more. In addition to pursuing specific and relevant legal and paralegal knowledge, students will be given opportunities to build professional skills for communication and decision-making. The program also provides elective opportunities students could use to better understand legal issues involved in different areas such as family law and bankruptcy practice.
