What you will study

Computer Science is an exciting and dynamic field, full of opportunities for creative discovery and invention that touch almost all areas of modern life. On our Computer Science BSc students will learn how data is stored, processed, applied and kept secure by information processing systems. They will develop a grounding in programming languages, databases, operating systems, graphics, robotics and other sophisticated technologies as well as exploring software engineering subjects, such as software development. Our course is constantly reviewed to ensure it’s relevant to the work they will be doing in the future.

Industry projects and summer placements are a key component of this degree and will help them to gain valuable experience in the workplace.
