An Ontario College Certificate in Construction Techniques is a one-year program offering hands-on skills in construction trades like concrete, framing, and building small structures. At Sheridan, Student will learn micro-credentials each semester, marking milestones in their training. After Term 1, they will receive credentials in Carpentry and Industrial Mechanic Millwright, and after Term 2, in Welding and Plumbing. These achievements validate their skills and aid transition into an apprenticeship. Construction workers are in high demand in Ontario and across Canada.
