Master of Engineering (Honours) (MEng) - Civil Engineering (H203)

Civil engineers are responsible for the design, construction, and operation of various physical infrastructure that is often taken for granted by society. This includes bridges, buildings, as well as water treatment and waste management systems.

The field of civil engineering requires individuals to apply their knowledge in physics and mathematics, while also utilizing engineering and computing tools in a creative and sustainable manner. This program aims to train individuals to become future civil engineers, equipping them with the necessary knowledge and skills to shape our ever-changing world.

Students will have the opportunity to specialize in various technical streams, such as structural, environmental, and construction management, geotechnical, and fire safety engineering. Throughout this degree program, there is a strong emphasis on engineering design.
