For those with previous knowledge of electrical and electronic engineering, the Electrical and Electronic Engineering, MSc course provides the advanced knowledge and skills to develop professional engineers. Students develop insight into industrial applications and requirements as well as management issues relating to engineering businesses. They'll also gain comprehensive knowledge of leading-edge ICT tools and techniques with the help of world-class engineering laboratories.
Learners can pursue their specialist interests through the project element of the course. Many of the projects undertaken by students reflect the key research interests of the faculty, such as embedded systems, electronic manufacturing and control and instrumentation. Projects can also be derived from Greenwich's links with industry.
This MSc course is accredited by the Institution of Engineering and Technology as satisfying the further learning requirements for chartered engineer (CEng) registration. Individuals must hold a CEng-accredited honours degree as well as the accredited MSc for full exemption to CEng status. It is also accredited by the Engineering Council.
The programme team and other contributors to the course are globally recognised specialists in their fields. Colleagues from industry deliver guest lectures each year as well as industry-relevant teaching sessions and seminars.
