What you will study
Program Description Biology is the study of living organisms and the study of the animal and plant life of a particular region.
Science students at UNB Saint John can pursue a bachelor of science (BSc.) with a major or honours in biology.
Students may also pursue postgraduate research and training in biology at both the MSc and PhD levels in Saint John.
The campus offers a choice of general studies or zoology.
Each is based on a set of required courses plus a number of electives. With an emphasize on whole organism biology and ecology.
A BSc. in general biology is very flexible and can be tailored to the individuals interests as well as toward any entrance requirements for professional schools.
At the end of the program in general biology, students will be a trained biologist with a background in botany, ecology, zoology and physiology.
This degree program is intended for students with interests and career goals in any area of: • Biology • Medicine • Dentistry • Veterinary college • Pharmacy • Graduate school
