The University of Essex MSc Financial Technology suite has three unique variants for students to explore so they can tailor their Masters in Financial Technology to suit their interests and goals. In addition to the MSc Financial Technology (Finance) variant, there is also the option of MSc Financial Technology (Economics) and MSc Financial Technology (Computer Science), giving students the chance to specialize in their preferred area of study.
The Finance variant of MSc Financial Technology is perfect for those with a basic understanding of coding, economics or finance. For students who are particularly looking to work in the financial services sector, especially in parts of the sector that are concerned with developing and growing new technologies for use in finance, this could be the course for them. MSc Financial Technology (Finance) explores the new and advancing technologies that are currently being used and developed to advance the financial services sector.
