What you will study

The BSc (Hons) Criminology at the University of West London enables students to explore why people commit crimes and how crime affects society.

Students will gain an understanding of the nature and causes of crime while examining how criminal justice systems operate in the UK and internationally.

The course is taught by highly experienced criminologists, and students will have opportunities to undertake work or voluntary placements within the criminal justice system in the UK.

Work-based learning is an integral part of the degree, allowing students to gain first-hand experience of the challenges explored in their theoretical studies.

Students will also have opportunities to participate in field trips linked to their studies.
