What you will study
Program Description This two year course is designed to be as practical as possible giving students a foundation in all aspects of music performance and production. Students will spend much of their time developing their own professional practice. Individual performance, ensemble work, and studio-based activities are all encouraged, alongside an understanding of music history and cultural context. The course provides practical experience of live sound, studio recording technologies, sequencing, entrepreneurship, video production, and song writing. It allows students to develop a broad understanding of the music industry from which, in the later stages, a specialisation of the student's own choosing can emerge. Students will also develop the technical skills and repertoire required to plan and organise a major music event.
