Overview
The ESL Foundation Program at The English Language Institute is designed for students who are academically qualified to apply for admission to a Toronto Metropolitan University undergraduate program, but do not meet the minimum English proficiency requirements.
The ESL Foundation Program teaches in-depth English proficiency in writing, reading, writing, listening, and speaking. Instructors will inspire students to work hard and accomplish their educational goals, rewarding students who aim high. Students will participate in 20-25 hours of classroom activity weekly in a supportive environment with small class sizes. Transition into their undergraduate program with up to 3 credits earned toward a degree.
