Students will experience using the latest diagnostic scan tools, computer repair software, and the newest tools and equipment while learning to diagnose and repair vehicles as they gain the skills required to pursue an exciting new career in the Automotive Industry. Students learn the fundamentals of various vehicle systems including brakes, steering and suspension, engine management, vehicle drivability, dive lines, and axles.
Students will be taught the theory and will apply those concepts to practical tasks in ATC's modern facility. This accredited program concludes with a four week work practicum where students have the opportunity to showcase their newly acquired skills in dealerships and independent repair facilities. The Automotive Technology program at ATC is accredited by Apprenticeship Manitoba under the trade of Automotive Service Technician.
