The Cybersecurity and Artificial Intelligence graduate certificate program provides advanced, practical training in protecting digital systems while applying artificial intelligence to identify, analyze and respond to cyber threats. The program combines cybersecurity principles with machine learning, automation and data analytics to address evolving security challenges.
Through hands-on labs, projects and case studies, students develop skills in areas such as network and cloud security, threat intelligence, vulnerability assessment, incident response, ethical hacking and security automation. They also explore the use of AI for anomaly detection, malware analysis, risk assessment and predictive threat modelling, along with the ethical, privacy and governance considerations associated with these technologies.
Graduates are prepared for roles such as cybersecurity analyst, security operations centre analyst, threat intelligence analyst, vulnerability assessment specialist and AI security analyst. Employment opportunities may be available in technology, financial services, government, consulting, health care and other sectors requiring advanced cybersecurity expertise.
