Overview
The Barrister Training Course (Master’s) not only sets students apart in a highly competitive field, but also enables them to create a piece of work as part of their master’s professional project which they can base on the practice areas of the particular chambers students wish to apply to. This Barrister Training Course (Master’s) combines the flagship BTC programme and a professional project to focus entirely on their employability, as well as access to postgraduate loan funding from Student Finance England. The master’s element of the course allows students to create a professional piece of work which aligns with the practice area of the chambers students will be applying to for pupillage – further boosting their chances of securing pupillage in this highly competitive market. Students will develop their core advocacy skills in small groups, with teaching delivered by the expert tutors – enabling them to contextualise their learning and understand how they’ll apply these skills in practice from day one. Get ready for a fulfilling career at the Bar with BPP. The BTC (Master’s) is taught via workshops to small groups of students, with advocacy sessions taught to groups of up to five for enhanced learning. Students will experience live, face-to-face teaching which provides an important social and collaborative learning environment. Students will also gain valuable interaction with the professionally experienced tutors, who use their expertise to bring the studies to life.
