What you will study
University Pathways Fast Track at RMIT UP is an accelerated pathway designed for high-achieving international students, preparing them for university in half the time of a Foundation Studies course. Delivered over one semester by RMIT UP (CRICOS provider number: 01912G), a fully owned entity of RMIT University, the program equips students with the knowledge, skills and confidence needed for future academic success.
Located in the heart of Melbourne, RMIT UP’s specialist staff support students throughout their journey, while providing opportunities to build global and social networks that contribute to success at RMIT and beyond.

University Pathways Fast Track features focused, discipline-based streams, allowing students to align their studies with their interests and goals. Available streams include STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), Art, Design and Architecture, Business, and Communication and Social Context.

Associate Degree in Design - Furniture (AD007) (061154K) RMIT’s Associate Degree in Design (Furniture) is an award-winning program that equips students to create original and contemporary furniture designs, grounded in strong design methodologies, manufacturing technologies and processes informed by cultural and social contexts.
The program combines design theory with hands-on production, enabling students to develop sustainable furniture solutions through real-world industry projects. Students explore contemporary, cultural and environmental aspects of professional furniture design while building practical making skills.
Through collaboration with highly regarded design companies and engagement with Australian and international industry mentors, students receive feedback on the commercial viability of their work and gain valuable industry insight.
Graduates are well positioned to showcase their designs in local and international competitions, including London Design Week, Fringe Design, Workshopped Design Show Australia, and VIVID (Décor + Design).
