Bachelor of Science (Honours) - Digital Media and Interaction Design Global (I152)

Program Description Incorporating integral study abroad in Year 3, this course has been developed for the new media professional ready to work in a global industry. Placements are available in Europe and beyond with a wide range of partner institutions and at ENU they'll work with students to find a placement that suits their skills, interests and ambitions. Studying this course will give students a comprehensive understanding of the role digital media and interaction design plays within our lives, exploring how people use and respond to emerging technology and media. They’ll be equipped with adaptable practical and theoretical skills to allow them to design for current and future trends, whether they are creating for screen-based media, interactive experiences or physical computing. During their studies students will be supported to create a portfolio of work, make links with industry and undertake optional work placement or study abroad options. ENU uses industry standard packages in specialist Mac and PC labs. Students' experience abroad combined with their studies at Edinburgh Napier will prepare them for employment opportunities across a range of fast-paced and exciting areas. Some of ENU's recent graduates have found employment as digital designers, motion graphic designers, VFX artists, developers, producers, 3d artists, user experience consultants and virtual reality producers.
