Bachelor of Law (Honours) - International Law

Nottingham Trent University - City Campus

What you will study

Program Description This qualifying law degree enables students to study both domestic and international law with the option to remain at the Law School throughout their degree or to spend either the second half of the second year or the whole of the third year studying abroad (returning to the Law School for the final year).

This course enables students to study Law from an international perspective. Students will explore the foundations of international relations and will be able to take optional modules such as the Laws of Armed Conflict or United States Law. By studying an exciting range of domestic and international law topics relevant to global society, students will gain the skills that are needed in a changing business climate, both in the UK and overseas.

Students will build on their knowledge throughout the course to develop a sound appreciation of the role of law in relation to international issues, something that is vital in an increasingly globalised employment market.

In Year Three, students will have the opportunity to spend a full year studying abroad at one of Nottingham Trent University's partner universities. This provides an exciting chance to experience life in another country and look at law from an international perspective.
