Master of Engineering in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering is for candidates aiming to impact productivity in Canada's manufacturing sector. It is among the first programs under Ontario’s new approach for specialized Master’s degrees, focusing on applied learning and industry collaboration. Research directly addresses industry challenges in real-world settings, equipping graduates with in-demand skills to enhance employability. Advanced manufacturing, or digital transformation, improves manufacturing flexibility, quality, and productivity through data-driven decision-making. The program prepares candidates to implement industry 4.0 technologies in traditional facilities, ensuring competitiveness in Ontario's manufacturing sector. Students will develop skills to convert complex challenges into real solutions, fostering innovation across the industry. The curriculum, created with industry partners, includes courses in advanced robotics, the Internet of Things (IoT), engineering leadership, production planning, 3D technology, system integration, and smart maintenance.
