Students will learn how to work with others to help them achieve their goals and potential on our unique undergraduate degree.
They will develop an understanding of:
• Current professional practice for working therapeutically with clients, and the skills related to managing the counselling process • Mental health and how to support different population groups and communities, as well as how to work in different professional contexts • The importance of research in therapeutic psychology by completing your own research project, giving you the opportunity to investigate a topic you are passionate about.
This well-rounded learning approach, alongside voluntary work experience, will give students a strong foundation for a career in the helping professions or postgraduate study.
