1-Semester Pathway - Pre-Masters - Engineering & Computing - ICAS - Transfer to Master of Science - Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning

This program consists of a pathway program offered by StudyGroup at the International Study Centre for the University of Strathclyde followed by entry into a university program offered at the University of Strathclyde. In your international foundation year, you will study courses related to your intended field of study alongside English to develop and enhance your skills as a student. Advancement into your intended program depends upon the successful completion of the pathway program.

The Pre-Masters in Engineering and Computing, you will explore and begin to understand the power of engineering and computing in the real world. While you begin to learn the technical aspects of your desired degree program, you will discover how to push the bounds of creative expression and graduate with the skills to succeed, plus the critical outlook and approach employers want.

Machine Learning is the scientific study of the ways in which computer systems can be programmed to perform a specific task without using explicit instructions, relying on patterns and inference instead through algorithms and statistical models.

This course is unique in combining theoretical and practical aspects of Machine Learning that will prepare graduates for a career in Industry or Academia. Modules include both aspects throughout the programme and prepare graduates for a variety of roles in Machine Learning development and deployment.
