Master of Arts - Physical Education and Leadership

The MA in Physical Education and School Sport aims to enhance theoretical understanding and applied practice of Physical Education and school-based Leadership.

Through applied learning and professional inquiry, students will be encouraged to dive deep into their personal values and beliefs in order to reveal and refine their professional identity and philosophy. Through the sociological, political and micropolitical analysis of Physical Education and Leadership, students will develop a heightened awareness of the wider landscape and culture of education as well as the everyday realities of leading for change.

Students will also conduct their own professional inquiry into an area or areas of their choice. This will be within Physical Education, Sport and/or Leadership. Topics could include philosophy, sociology, pedagogy, politics, social justice, models-based practice, inclusion, socialisation and more.
